One of my Spring Goals was to shoot two rolls of film. Well that was easy! I had two others sitting around my house, so I got four rolls developed and ouch my wallet. Now I remember why I let this hobby go. Nonetheless it was totally worth it because I got some really great shots! Here are some of my favorite from my day with Barry. Shot with my minolta on expired film.

A Day with Barry
By some miracle, Barry and I both got a Friday off together. Of course we pounced on that knowledge and made plans to go to garden centers. I was on the hunt for a weeping cherry tree for my Mom(which turned out to be way past my budget, so I got her a ton of succulents instead), and Barry just loaded up on lovely succulents to decorate her apartment. We had such a good time exploring and picking out plants! I hope this miracle of girl's days end up happening more often!

Oh and it just happened to be Earth Day when we went! Fancy that.

366 - Week 6
46/366 - Mailing off some orders! Yes I typically cover them in stickers :)
47/366 - This looks like a candid couples photo haha.
50/366 - I was thrifting with Mom and saw this and was hit with a wave of nostalgia! My friend Lyzzy collected these as a kid. I love finding things that trigger forgotten memories.
51/366 - The weather was so beautiful I ate breakfast on the porch swing after walking Steve!
52/366 - Duke spent the night! We watched Jackass 3 and laughed until it hurt.

Brewer's Cup!
Barry and I competed in our first coffee brewing competition! It was at Bloc Coffee Company and was hailed the brewers cup. Anne entered and drove us down and we grabbed burritos beforehand to fuel us haha. I wasn’t even a bit nervous until we got there and I saw how many people were there and that we’d be put up on big screen tvs. It was not what I was expecting at all. But it was so much fun! I was shaking and adrenaline was flowing and once I was up there I couldn’t hear anything but my thoughts. I tried to stay calm and made the coffee as best as I could. Neither of us ended up making it on to the next round, but we came as little rookies and I think we kicked ass! We also found out the people making it onto the next rounds were making way different ratios than us. It’s all relative though, and everybody likes their coffee different after all. So now that I know what to expect, I can’t wait to compete again!
