So as you know I've recently taken up yoga, and in the process met some fellow yoga lovers. One of which being a regular friend at the coffee shop named Matt, who teaches it at the Dayton Yoga Club. He clued me in that he was doing an event with SICSA(Society for the Improvement of Conditions for Stray Animals), which featured doing yoga with Cats. Well we all know I'm more of a dog person, but when I was little I was obsessed with cats. When people asked me what what I wanted to be when I grew up I would answer "a cat"(not a bad answer huh? Cats have it made). So I was like 'count me in!!' I invited some friends and Tia ended up being the only able to make it. She picked me up and we had such a great time! SICSA provided towels to those who didn't have a mat and catnip and treats for us to entice kitties with. Matt's class was perfect and calm for the cats and the dreary early Saturday morning. The cats were super cute and entertaining, Tia and I giggled just about the entire time. Two fights broke out so a few cats had to be rotated out, and in the end there were two kittens!! We even got a tour of the facility at the end! It was a super cute way to start the weekend :)

Boonshoft Museum's Telescope
So I had no idea that this was a thing, but evidently on Friday nights when the skies are clear, the Boonshoft Museum invited guests to come in for free and look into their giant telescope! It was awesome! While we were there we got to see Saturn, Mars, and the Moon. We also got to go onto the roof and see the giant Friday the 13th full moon, and a satellite flare. The scientists that set up the telescope were of course extremely knowledgeable and explained all sorts of things about space that really blew our minds. I definitely recommend taking the trip out to see space!

When Deloreans took over Dayton
It's probably your understanding by now that I'm obsessed with Daloreans. That obsession stems from my love of the movie Back to the Future of course. Well after I saw that random one over by the Kenwood mall, I was tipped off to the car show coming to Dayton. I made sure to take the day off and drove down to visit Sophie. She called to see where I was when I was just getting into town when one drove past me and I started squealing excitedly. We drove over and got to walk around and check them all out. There were so many it was mind boggling. So many colors and modifications I had no idea existed. Sadly I couldn't afford to go into the museum they'd set up or meet Christopher Lloyd(I'm crying tears forever about that!!), but at least I got to see the cars!

The Dalorean of my Dreams
I
was at the opening of my friend Devin's new store when I spotted
something across the road that made my eyes turn into little saucers.
Something I've been in love with since I was a kid...
| A DALOREAN WITH A FLIPPING FLUX CAPACATOR!!!!! |
Back to the future has been one of my all time favorite movies/series since I was maybe 10 years old? When I spotted that thing I was like Bufford if you ask him if he wants to go on a walk. I was practically bouncing to get out of there. Sophie obliged my eagerness and even took my photo as I climbed onto a stranger's trailor without any permission! ...yolo right?
