Mini Target Haul

Got a couple of cute things from Target with Rachel a couple of weeks ago and wanted to share!

"The spot" is my greatest weakness. I can never pass up the $1 and $3 goodies. These succulent cards are beautiful and I can't wait to send some out. The washi tape gives me Twin Peaks vibes for sure, might incorporate that into my pin packages, or just save it for scrapbooking. I plan to make my way out to Washington to see where the show was filmed at some point, so you know I'm going to have a barrage of photos from that journey.
Look how beautiful this journal is. Dunno if you know, but writing has been my greatest home therapy remedy since I was a teenager. Nothing like clearing out my brain and getting all those thoughts bouncing around in there onto paper. This brand had a few awesome looking notebooks, it came down to this one and one with bees. I'm going back for the bees next time!

What I Wore - Valentines Edition 2016

I decided to dress up for Valentine’s day because I will always be a hopeless romantic. I love love! Can’t help it. I also love to look cute, so that’s what I did. How fun and sweet is that cardigan?! Such a jackpot thrift find, the fake fur is removable, but why would you?!

Target Haul

I am a target affiliate, if you click ads, and make purchases accordingly I will be compensated.

My favorite month of the year is nearly upon us so you know that means stores are stocking up with what I affectionately call "Halloweenies" (Halloween products of any kind). My favorite being Target! Ever year I browse their selection so slowly, and end up leaving with much more than I meant to but its always worth it. Halloween is my favorite holiday, I can't help but go all out. Jared and I went a browsed a few days ago and here are a few things I left with!
This cutie modeling with all my goodies.

Lovely blanket(I want the ghost one too but I had to narrow it down to one).
I lost my H&M scarf and this looks a lot like it so I'm stoked.

Cute little decorating lights!

Cute little cards to give to coworkers :)

Some dingus trying to eat my twine. I'm going to string that up and use the clips to hang up instax photos!

Yawning, haha!

This is really too small for him but I couldn't pass it up!!

A new pumpkin collar from Boots & Barkley for my little pumpkin.
Check out the deals below to pickup your own Halloweenies!!

What I Wore - Cactus Pants!!

 Shirt - Gap
Hoodie - Urban Outfitters(very old)
Jacket - Thrifted(Gap)
Joggers - Forever 21
Sandals - Target

I gotta let you guys know, the men's section of Forever 21 is KILLING IT!! I'm obsessed, they keep putting out the best colors and patterns...I'm not interested in the ladies stuff lately. I came across these pants, and didn't buy them right away and regretted it. I thought about them all night and went back the next day and I'm so glad I did. My Mom calls them my "pjs for everydays" haha, and they really are. This is my first pair of joggers and they are the comfiest most awesome pants. I love them.

What I Wore - $10 Dress!

Dress - H&M(last summer)
Belt - Forever 21(last summer)
Socks - Target
Shoes - Target

Last summer when I went to see The Postal Service with my Mom, I saw a girl walk by wearing this dress. A few weeks later on a shopping trip with Jared to Cinci, I found it in H&M and it was on sale for $10! They have such great deals from time to time, I love it. You probably know by now that pastels are my weakness, as well as patterns, so this dress is one I feel perfectly comfortable and myself in. Feminine and casual. It even has pockets!(As any dress wearer knows, the best perk a dress can have is pockets).

What I Wore - Little Striped Dress

Dress - Urban Outfitters
Tights - Target
Shoes - Target
Vest - Charlotte Russe
Scully Brooch - My Shop! Pick one up :)
Mulder Brooch - Sweet and Lovely

I was on the fence about that dress for a while because its very short, but I tried it on twice and then we got a special employee sale and I was convinced to treat myself and let out my inner floosy. After all I come from a long line of them ;)-cough- I mean... haha, the women in my family are awesome and have great stories to tell. ANYWAYS, I also love that vest, I'm continually adding things to it, and its becoming a nice representation of my likes and interests. My favorite bits are my X-files brooches because its a huge obsession of mine at the moment.

What I Wore - Rhiannon

Dress - Urban Outfitters (on sale last year)
Tights - Target
Shoes - Aldo
Hat - Target
Socks - ?? (I've had them since High School)
Necklace - City Flea(local)

You can probably tell when I'm really into an outfit because I go all out, even with the background. Definitely pulling out all the witchy vibes I could. I love dressing super spooky/dramatically. It was so cold that day(you can probably see my nose being red in a few photos), but of course I had to go out and take pictures because the lighting was moody and perfect. There are daffodils growing in the cemetery and they're so pretty!
