Breakfast Bowl

Since I bought quinoa for the first time, I haven't really known what to do with it. I have just been eating it plain, which is not very exciting. Then a friend of mine posted the most delicious looking photo on instagram not too long ago, and I really wanted to try it. I found the recipe on pinterest and made it for breakfast. Its so scrumptious, and easy to make!

Under the fruit and nuts!
Its just quinoa, coconut milk, water, sugar, vanilla, strawberries, bananas, and almonds! It was soooo good! I'll probably make it again really soon...like tomorrow haha. If you want to try the recipe yourself click here!

Cozy Christmas

My family came to my house for Christmas!

JINGLE BOOF!!
Baking gingerbread cookies! I didn't burn them for once!!
Lmfaooo. THEY'RE BEAUTIFUL. hahahaha.
Action jingle boof, jingle boof, jingle boof rock. (yes I have replaced every song with "jingle boof" instead of "jingle bell" and sung to him incessantly)
Record player rack my parents got for Jared.
Duke and Dad doing scratch offs.
Card from my Aunt Star, cookbook Mom made me with old recipies we made together in Alaska. Bee necklace from Jared.
Bulldog ornaments! From mom :)
Jared and some of his loot. Basically never leaving the house again...
My loot!! Woo! Seriously so thankful my family is so wonderful. I love everything from everyone! I had a great time today, now to rest and relax. I got so much clothes, there's going to be so many cute outfit posts to come! I hope everyone is having a wonderful day. Happy Christmas!

Brownie Pops!

Dustin, modeling the last four brownie pops :)

Sorry that its been a few days since I've updated! Been crazy busy! Anyways, here a little review of some brownie pops Jared and I made last week.

Everything came in a box by pillsbury, which you can buy here(or at your local grocery store). They were fairly simple to make (though a lot of instructions to read which I hate. I need pictures, I don't have time to read 5 paragraphs! I want brownie pops NOW. haha), but a bit time consuming. The end result however was really tasty! Jared took his time dipping his and making swirly designs with the chocolate. I just impatiently dunked my pops in.

As good as they were, I probably wouldn't make them again unless it was for some sort of special occasion.  It was just too tedious, I'd rather just cut out a brownie square.

Well, I hope you had a good weekend!
