So I wanted to show off my "gold room". Asthetically speaking, this is probably my favorite room in the house, even thought we never actually sit in there, haha! The way we collected things and put them in there just happened to match up really well! I'm a little proud :)

Memorial Day with the Fam

Yesterday I spent memorial day with Jared and my family. We drove all over trying to find someplace to swim, and everywhere was PACKED with people. Finally we drove down to the river and it was PERFECT. The water was great and there weren't a ton of people. There was also a water balloon fight when we got back. I brought the polaroid I got at the thrift store, and turns out it was a full pack of film!

Litte Thrift Haul!

The day before yesterday Jared and I went thrifting on our day off. I wasn't expecting to buy anything exciting because I think my camera collection might be growing too large. But I wanted to do something out of the house anyways. Boy, did we find a couple goodies!

I love needlepoint stuff, and this reminds me of Alaska. Plus it was only $.69!

This great pan! Which for some reason, Bufford decided to start licking while I was trying to photograph it :/ Weirdo dog.

This is THE BEST find. I found a polaroid with film still in it, for $.99. So I bought the whole thing figuring if the film was a dud, thinking some film I had at home would fit it. Well the film at home didn't fit, but! The film inside it did! (the shot above is a neat dud from when we were testing it at the thrift store)

See! I don't know how many are left inside but I can't wait to find out :D

Wednesday Wishlist

Switch it Up Dress by Modcloth

This dress is perfect! I love the colors(I feel I look best in brown, and the touch of color is perfect for spring), not to mention its adorably casual, which I am all about with dresses.

An Iphone

I know I'm probably just wanting to jump on the bandwagon, but they look so user friendly, fast and sleek. The camera is the main thing that is pulling me in. 8mp of power in my pocket, not to mention I know there are cute little lenses you can clip on. yeee!

Polaroid Z340 Instant Digital Camera

Hmm! I'm not sure how I feel about this one, but I'm pretty sure I want it. I just think its part of the beauty of a polaroid, not knowing what it looks like until 30 seconds or so after you click the shutter. Then again, I have wasted a few shots, and this handy gadget would prevent that!

Yee these Docs are so cute, again, another perfect spring item. Actually, I could pull these off year-round!

A Boston Terrier!

Yeah yeah, I know, Cady you don't need another dog... but I bet Boof would LOVE a playmate, not to mention I read the it eases separation anxiety to have another do around(which Boof is an anxiety fiend like his mother). And I could carrier her with me everywhere and ~siiiigh~. Someday soon I hope!

HOLGA HL-N Lens w/ FISHEYE for NIKON

UGH! This is the besttttt. It's a holga lens....FOR YOU DSLR!! Amazing right?! The guy at the camera store told me about this one and showed me how it works! So awesome, because I have terrible luck sometimes with my film, and it can get expensive to develop... so problem solved! Awesome looking pictures for free...and well the price of the lens. Not to mention this is bundled with a fisheye lens attachment!

Mom's Birthday

Yesterday was my Mom's birthday, and somehow Jared and I both managed to get the day off! We went over around noon(not before grabbing a bunch of flowers and last minute things for mom. Also doughnuts, haha) and spent the whole day with her, my little brother Duke, my great aunt Star, my dad, Grammy and their dog Charmin. It was a nice relaxing day off. I took my instax camera along with, so here are some shots we took :)

Spring in Instax

Today I took Bufford for a walk and my new Instax Mini!

I love this camera :) It takes awesome shots and is so easy to use :) It is so lovely and sunny outside, and all these blooms smell amazing! Bufford is enjoying sitting out on the balcony and sun-bathing. How are you spending your Sunday afternoon?
