Film

I finally got around to developing some film I've had sitting in my holga for nearly two years... I'm not sure what happened. Shooting with film used to be one of my favorite hobbies, I think I just gave it up because it got to be too expensive when I was saving up to get my car. Either way I missed it and I'm glad to have found some more film and have started shooting again.
The black and white's didn't turn out great, and yet I'm kinda smitten with the ones that did. They're from Rusty and Addie's wedding, which was in 2013(as you can tell by my lack of hair C:). It was a roll of b&w Sophie had given me, so it's possible it had expired before she gave it to me, but I'm not sure. For some reason the numbers that reflect on the outside of the film(it shows through a little hole so you can tell what photo you're on/what's left) imprinted onto the photos themselves, but again... I kinda like it.
The colored film is from that disastrous day on the river, where the dogs tipped the canoe and we lost many things... the camera itself got dunked into the water and ended up with some interesting results. A few photos I didn't scan had some spots, and one was crazy looking. Overall I'm excited about them and I'm ready to shoot more.
The main bummer, is that I'm not sure where to develop my film in the future. I used to develop it at Wal*Mart who sent it to fujifilm(which was risky because they lost important film of mine once...), because the price was unbeatable! $3 for a roll or 120 film! I just got these developed and it was $15.99 or something per roll. Agh. I'm going to have to shop around. I know my Mom pulled up a website for me at one point which I will probably use, but I will keep you all posted on that when I shoot my next roll.
