What I Wore - Hi, How Are You

A little sassy bitch face for yas.
Oops my boxer briefs are peeking out.
Shirt - Ebay
Cardigan - Vintage from Grammy
Skirt - Thrifted then altered
Socks - Urban Outfitters
Shoes - Modcloth
Bag - Target

So I'm pretty pumped about this outfit. Mostly because its all stuff I've had laying around for a while and never thought to put together. Its like falling in love with your old clothes all over again because the remixed outfit is all fresh and new and different!
Anyways, my mom bought me the skirt while thrifting, and I always planned on cutting it up but never got around to it until the other day. I knew it had potential though, I was just lazy.
Oh and sorry if my boxer briefs were a little to risqué for anyone. Just kidding, I'm not they're big underwear and get over it haha.
By the way has anyone listened to that album? Its so interesting. I originally got the shirt because I was having a Kurt style inspired phase, but then I thought I'd better know what I was wearing so I looked it up on spotify. I really like Despair Came Knocking.

  2. i love Daniel Johnston! "Story of an Artist" and "Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Your Grievances" are two of my favorites. i got to see an exhibit of his work/journals/drawings once when i visited California and it was so neat. There is also a film about him called The Devil & Daniel Johnston that is about his life.

so obviously i love this outfit! i love that feeling when you can rediscover items in your own closet. i also love that you just made that skirt into what you wanted— altering vintage is one of my favorite things to do!
