What I Wore - Cactus Pants!!

 Shirt - Gap
Hoodie - Urban Outfitters(very old)
Jacket - Thrifted(Gap)
Joggers - Forever 21
Sandals - Target

I gotta let you guys know, the men's section of Forever 21 is KILLING IT!! I'm obsessed, they keep putting out the best colors and patterns...I'm not interested in the ladies stuff lately. I came across these pants, and didn't buy them right away and regretted it. I thought about them all night and went back the next day and I'm so glad I did. My Mom calls them my "pjs for everydays" haha, and they really are. This is my first pair of joggers and they are the comfiest most awesome pants. I love them.

What I Wore - Nature Girl

Cardigan - Urban Outfitters
Tank top - Urban Outfitters
Shorts - Thrifted
Boots - Plato's Closet
Necklace - Altar'd State

Money is finally balancing out, and I'm on a budget, plus we've had great discounts at work which all make for a wonderful equation that means: NEW CLOTHES!! Ahh yes, haha. I felt really adorable in this outfit and got lots of compliments from my coworkers. The sad thing is that it's August and I wasn't hot in that cardigan, this summer has been a bit of a ripoff. Lots of cloudy rainy lukewarm days. I honestly miss the days where it feels like my skin is going to melt off... maybe I'm the only one but, it makes swimming so much more refreshing. Also eating ice cream, but anyways. I'm really into this outfit, and I feel like they're great staple pieces because they can be mixed and matched all kinds of ways.

What I Wore - Little Striped Dress

Dress - Urban Outfitters
Tights - Target
Shoes - Target
Vest - Charlotte Russe
Scully Brooch - My Shop! Pick one up :)
Mulder Brooch - Sweet and Lovely

I was on the fence about that dress for a while because its very short, but I tried it on twice and then we got a special employee sale and I was convinced to treat myself and let out my inner floosy. After all I come from a long line of them ;)-cough- I mean... haha, the women in my family are awesome and have great stories to tell. ANYWAYS, I also love that vest, I'm continually adding things to it, and its becoming a nice representation of my likes and interests. My favorite bits are my X-files brooches because its a huge obsession of mine at the moment.

What I Wore - Rhiannon

Dress - Urban Outfitters (on sale last year)
Tights - Target
Shoes - Aldo
Hat - Target
Socks - ?? (I've had them since High School)
Necklace - City Flea(local)

You can probably tell when I'm really into an outfit because I go all out, even with the background. Definitely pulling out all the witchy vibes I could. I love dressing super spooky/dramatically. It was so cold that day(you can probably see my nose being red in a few photos), but of course I had to go out and take pictures because the lighting was moody and perfect. There are daffodils growing in the cemetery and they're so pretty!

What I Wore - A Hint of Pink

Shirt - Roller Derby Date Top by Modcloth
Jumper - Urban Outfitters
Tights - Target
Boots - Modcloth
Necklace - Local

I've styled that crop top in so many ways, usually only with monochromatic outfits, but it doesn't even matter because I definitely got my money's worth out of it. Its in my top 10 favorite shirts for sure. The jumper I got off the sales rack at work for a pre-black-friday for employees which was awesome. Bufford accidentally bit a hole in it the other day when we were playing, I hope I can fix it... The boots are another favorite, I hope I can work them into summer outfits easily... I don't want to hide them in the back of my closet for a season. I've worn them so much I've busted the gold loop off the back heel! I think it's an easy fix though.
I've been experimenting with lipstick a lot this year. I bought a bunch last year, but was never brave enough to wear it outside the house. Working with my boss who rocks it all the time has given me the confidence to try, and I kinda like it. Although I do worry all day about smearing it haha.
Jared bought the necklace for me at the city flea from a local oddity type shop. Its moss and a tooth in a vial if you can't tell. I love it! I either get lots of compliments or "...huh" reactions, which are pretty funny to me.

What I Wore - St. Valentine

Grumpy dumpy :)

Dress - Urban Outfitters
Belt - (From an H&M Dress)
Tights - Urban Outfitters
Heels - Plato's Closet

I really didn't think I would be able to pull this dress off. Things that emphasize the bust have obviously never worked for me, but since it was on the special sale for employees, I figured why not at least try it on. Lo and behold it actually fit(in fact I might have got a size too large, but the belt fixed that problem)!
I wanted to do my hair and makeup 1940's style. I think I pulled it off as well as I could for this haircut. I love how I look today :) My tattoo has never looked more festive hehe, I hope Lynne is enjoying hers as well cx Bufford decided to join me again for photos this week, he was off milling around the yard eating snow during the last outfit photos. Jared was here as well, and he even posed and took photos for me, what a sweetie ♡
I've always liked Valentines, even when I didn't have a valentine. I love love, and there's always friends or family to love if you don't have a special partner. I hope you get the love you deserve today, dear blog enthusiasts ♡♡♡
