A Walk in the Woods

The landlord to our current place keeps wanting to show our place while we're in the midst of moving out of it. I knew he was going to show it today so I tidied up extra nice, loaded up the dogs, and left to go on a hike so I wouldn't have to be around for it because it makes me super anxious. I just punched "hiking" into the maps app and went off to a cute nearby woodsy area. It was so lovely and peaceful out there, I could be totally in the moment and not worry about anything for a bit. Just giggling at the boys because I tied their leash's together and let them walk each other. Here's some cute shots of the boys and I frolicking in the lovely fall weather.

I've been meaning to take these photos since I got this dress in like... May. Time always gets away from me and I put things off until it's almost too late. Everyone is gearing up in layers for fall, but I'm sliding this outfit in while it's still sweaty hot in Cincinnati.
Okay you guys, its a dress covered in dogs... you know I had to have it!! I am obsessed with dogs. I squeal pretty much any time I see one. While I was shooting pictures, a lady walked by with two frenchies, and we just stared at each other's dogs wistfully haha. They were so cute!
Anyway this dress is awesome and flattering, I love the way the skirt twirls. The middle is a little scrunchy and loose, but it's not a huge flaw. It has a built in bra which is great, and the halter strap is removable if need be, which sometimes it is for me because using my neck to hold up a dress kinda hurts after a while.
Also Steve is a big cute baby. And it's really hard to get two dogs to pose with you in 80 degree weather. The End!

Snow Day!

It's basically snowmageddon here in Ohio, which in my opinion is kind of awesome. Granted I would have rather it happened in the middle of winter, not the end, but oh well, what can you do? Jared cleaned my car of snow this morning(he is so good to me ♡), and Scarlett(my car) does just awesome in the snow. I got to the on ramp of the highway, and noticed a bunch of people stopped on the ramp, sliding into one another. Of course I turned around and went home, because my life and car are worth more than one day of work. I called in to let them know it was literally not possible for me to make it, and a few phone calls later they let me know they were closing the store anyways! Glad I didn't even attempt it. Thankfully Jared had the day off too, so we took the cabin fevered dogs out to play in the snow.

Everything antlers- can I get a hell yeah?! Haha, I seriously love anything with antlers, blame it on growing up with my dad hunting and adorning the house with his trophies.  So why not put them all on at once, right?!

So I wanted to let you in on a secret about this cardigan. First of all, let me gush about how amazing it is. I'm in love with it! Its so big and cozy and ahhh (~‾⌣‾)~ Well I first found one just like it in Chicago when I was shopping with my gal pals at vintage stores. I found two similar ones and they wanted $40 and $60 for them. As badly as I wanted them, eating was a bit larger or a priority so I had to leave without them. Yet I'm a determined girl who gets what she wants and so I logged into etsy and ebay and was on a man hunt! Come to find out that there are dozens of them floating around for all sorts of prices. Some people wanted $175, some wanted $30. I also found out that they're basically all home made because I found a vintage pattern for purchase. How cool! I'm not that dedicated to knitting or crocheting anymore so I shopped around for a few weeks until I found one pop up for cheaper than all the aforementioned prices. Huzzah! (ﾉ´ヮ´)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧ 

I also finally got brave enough to seek out a new location for outfit photos. Since moving to Cincinnati, I've basically stayed in my neighborhood or yard for shoots because I don't know where to go. I had a lot of free time Saturday so I loaded up and eager Bufford(he loves to go go go!) and decided to just cruise around until something caught my eye. This was all on some school grounds, the area I found was so cute! I'll probably be back again.
